DESKTOP OPTIMISATION

We ensure that the desktop estate is configured and managed in an optimal way for your business. It means that we remove any unnecessary software and provide the means of controlling what is installed and what the PC can access.

PATCH MANAGEMENT

Software vendors release patches to update functionality, fix bugs and more importantly plug security vulnerabilities. Patches also present a risk to infrastructure stability. We fully test all patches prior to release and work with you to apply them at a time that is convenient to your business.

MONITORING

 

We monitor all desktop, server, network devices and internet connectivity. All performance is benchmarked and alerts sent should any thresholds be breached. Bespoke thresholds can also be set to monitor any critical devices. The tools can also be used to automate remedial action. Client performance dashboards are available.

AUDITING

 

Infrastructure is dynamic and regular checks are required to confirm the integrity of the systems. The auditing process is automated and designed to periodically keep an eye on all aspects, identify any unrecorded changes and test the security. Audit reports are supplied to clients.

MANAGEMENT SUMMARY

 

Every month we will send you our report that looks at the health of your systems. This includes availability, performance and security. The summary reports are designed not to be too technical but we will happily spend time with you to explain any of the content.

BACKUP MANAGEMENT

 

Protecting your data is part of ensuring its availability. Backup is a key component of this protection. Management involves the confirmation that the jobs have been completed successfully and the scope includes all important data assets and manages the data any retention requirements.

NETWORK MONTIORING

The network links all devices in the infrastructure and provides a gateway to the internet and remote systems. The performance of the network can impact the user experience. We monitor the traffic on the network and the flows to the internet to check that it is optimal.

AV SOFTWARE

Anti-Virus is a foundation tool in protecting your systems from cyber threats and needs to be installed and up to date on all relevant devices. Anti-malware and DNS protection build on this. We ensure that your systems are kept up to date, highlight any weaknesses and initiate remedial action.

The monitoring and analysis tools all have real time dashboards that are monitored by our Network Operations Centre (NOC). These tools are available for the clients to access, either periodically or to have their own dashboards displayed in their offices.
